Notes on Rental price

In keeping with traditional hospitality, a generous breakfast is included in the price of rooms. Tea, coffee and snacks are available throughout the day on request and evening meals can be arranged on by prior arrangement. Dar Jameel can provide accommodation for up to 20 people and rooms can be rented individually or the house may be rented as a whole complete with a staff. Dar Jameel can help create your special event and provide full board for you and your group be it a family celebration, conference or workshop. Please enquire directly to the owners about group, long term or party bookings.

Bedrooms : Dar Jameel has seven large rooms to rent individually or as a whole house. Each room contains a king-size bed and most contain sofa-divans.
Living room : There are 3 salons, including a large dining room/library and roof terrace where a small café/bar and magnificent penthouse chill-out space, with magnificent 360 degree views to the Mediterranean and Atlantic seas, the Bay of Tangier and the medina are located. Some en-suite rooms available with extra showers and toilets located throughout the house.

Local information

Tangier seafront boasts a large sandy beach that is less than five minutes walking distance from Dar Jameel. The beach is regularly maintained and cleaned and throughout the year. Numerous cafes, restaurants and bars line the promenade opposite. Tangier is famed for its nightlife and this is one of its prime locations throughout the year. Many other wonderful beaches can be found less than an hours drive away along the Mediterranean and Atlantic coasts.

Travel distances

Asilah, famous for its artesans, handcraft, beach and excellent seafood is approx. 40 kms. along the Atlantic coast. Ksar Sagheer, another beautiful seaside village, known for its ancient castle, beach and seafood is located at about the same distance to the east along the Mediterranean coast. The World Heritage city of Fes is 3-4 hours drive.

Golf

Located on the outskirts of the city, approx. 15 minutes drive from Dar Jameel. Royal Tangier Country Club is the oldest club in the country, and one of the finest in North Africa. The course winds its way through cypress, pine and eucalyptus trees while crossing the mountain, sloping down and climbing again.
