Change over day/Arrival/Departures

Changeover is routinely on a Saturday, and property is available from 4pm onwards, and must be vacated by 10am on morning of departure.


Cleaning/Towels

The property will be cleaned prior to arrival and after departure. All linen and towels are provided (not beach towels).


Accommodation details

Bedrooms : The spacious Master bedroom has a Minstrel Balcony overlooking the lounge area, a choice of two terraces -to watch the sun rise and set, and en-suite facilities. The downstairs bedroom has twin beds, and like the dining room and the lounge has double glass doors opening into the delightful garden.
Bathrooms : The large family bathroom serves the bunk area and twin room, and has his/hers washbasins.
Kitchen : The kitchen as you would expect is extremely well equipped.
Living room : In the lounge there is satellite tv, music system and a large feature fireplace.
Dining room : There is adequate lounge and dining seating for 8 people.


Facilities provided

In the kitchen you will find a dishwasher, fridge/freeer, full size cooker with ceramic hobs and more than adequate crockery and cutlery. In the Utility Room you will find the washing machine and another fridge/freezer, and all necessary cleaning equipment, iron etc.


Outside

The garden is a major feature of the property, offering both space and beauty. There is quality wooden garden furniture. The Lemon Tree is outside the dining room door and the grape vine hangs over the front door. The communal swimming pool and large play park are less than a minute from the back door.


Accommodation notes

The property may not be suitable for guests with thrill seeking-toddlers as the stairs and the minstrel balcony could be a bit of a challenge, although we do provide travel cot and high-chair.


Nearby Activities

There is a lot to see and do including visiting the local Roman and Moorish sites. See the Lions amongst other animals in Selwo Nature Park. Enjoy the glitz and glamour of Marbella and Puerto Banus - great people watching spots. Take a day trip to Tangier, ferries all along the coast but the shortest crossing is from Tarifa (35 minutes) - well worth a visit. Why not visit Gibraltar, catch a glimpse of the apes and do some duty free shopping - just 30 minutes away.


Local information

The beach is 5 minutes walk down hill. It has it's own Chiringuito, WC's and changing facilities. Two minutes walk down hill you will find a "hot bread" service station.


Travel distances

Along the coast you can access several beaches from Malaga (90km), Puerto Banus (17km), Estepona (5km), La Duquesa (2km), Sotogrande (12km) and Tarifa (50km) which is famous for both kite and windsurfing world championships.


Golf

Costa del Sol is the golfers paradise with a golf course every 10 or 15 minutes, the world renowned Valderama is only 12km away. The nearest to hand are Estepona and Duquesa both only 5 minutes in opposite directions.


Skiing

In the Winter months you can Ski at the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountains which is a 2 hour drive away.
