Our apartment is on a small recently built development of 36 apartments. The apartment has 3 bedrooms, a comfortably furnished lounge and dining kitchen and a bathroom with large walk-in shower. It is on the ground floor and the large swimming pool is only feet away from the balcony accessed through a private gate. There is plenty of space around the pool for sunbathing and toddlers have their own pool next to the main pool. The Yasmin complex, which has secure access for your peace of mind, is situated in a popular yet quiet residential part of Altinkum. Shops and restaurants are just a few minutes walk and less than 200 metres away is a new bar which opened last year. The 'Lounge' bar has a great atmosphere and as well as offering food and drinks, shows sporting events on a large screen TV and has wireless internet access. A 12 minutes leisurely stroll will take you to the resort's main golden beach and the crystal clear blue Aegean sea.

Notes on Rental price

Weeks which fall into two different months are priced according to the earlier month. A 5% discount is offered for bookings of 3 or more weeks. Please contact the owners for details of out of season rentals.

Change over day/Arrival/Departures

Monday is the main changeover day. There are also limited flights to and from the UK on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and the owners will seek to accommodate any guest wanting to travel on these days. This cannot be guaranteed however.

Cleaning/Towels

Bed linen and towels are provided but guests are asked to bring their own towels for the beach. A cleaning service is provided on change overs only; this has enabled us to keep our rental costs to a minimum.

Accommodation details

Bedrooms : The master bedroom contains a king sized bed and has a small balcony.
The 2nd bedroom contains twin beds as does the 3rd bedroom.
All bedrooms are fully furnished and air-conditioned.


Bathrooms : There is a large fully tiled bathroom containing a bath and large walk-in shower, wash basin, wc, electric boiler and washing machine.
Kitchen : The fully equipped dining kitchen includes cooker, microwave and grill, large fridge/freezer, cutlery, crockery, glasses and cooking utensils together with a dining table and four chairs.
Living room : The spacious lounge is fully air conditioned and comfortably furnished with 2 large settees (which convert to double beds), a coffee table, TV (DVD play only), DVD player with a selection of DVDs and a games console.

Facilities provided

Hob, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave/grill,
washing machine, iron/ironing board, tv, DVD player, games console, air conditioning, cot, barbecue.

A small book library is available and please feel free to take home any book that you have not finished reading. All we ask is that you leave another in it's place.

Outside

A patio table and six chairs with cushions are provided, as are four sunbeds together with pads. The balcony has an inbuilt barbeque for the sole use of guests and there is a communal barbeque on the complex which is often used during the summer months.

Accommodation notes

The lounge and bedrooms have air conditioning units installed.

Windows and doors have roll down shutters for your peace of mind, these also help to keep the bedrooms cool during the day. Windows are all fitted with mosquito nets.

Whilst smoking is not permitted in the apartment for health and safety reasons, we don't mind it outside on the balcony.

Local information

The nearest shops (which include a large supermarket) and restaurants are literally around the corner. Altinkum has something for everyone; you can stroll along the seafront and stop off for refreshment at any one of the numerous bars and restaurants which line the long promenade. You can relax on one of the 3 sandy beaches or maybe visit Dolphin Square if you would prefer a 'livelier' time. And don't worry about getting back again after your night out as just about every bar and restaurant will offer you a free taxi service.

Travel distances

Less than a minute's walk away is the main road where you can catch a dolmus (local mini-bus) to the magnificent Temple of Apollo situated on the outskirts of Altinkum. Another attraction worth visiting is the aqua park which again, is only a short dolmus ride away. Day trips can be arranged to Ephesus, which is the the largest and most complete ancient city in the eastern Mediterranean. Trips by sea are also available from the harbour with a ferry service to Samos due to start this summer.

Wheelchair friendly

Although the apartment is on the ground floor, there are a few steps leading to the entrance and again to the pool area from the balcony which would make it unsuitable for wheelchair users.

Booking Details

Once availabilty is confirmed by the owners, a completed booking form is required together with a cheque for the deposit (£50). This will guarantee your booking and the balance is due 6 weeks before departure. Approximately 3 weeks before departure, keys for the apartment will be sent to you together with a detailed map of how to get there. We will also forward details of airport transfers if booked through us.

Bodrum is the main airport for charter flights (May to October) and Izmir handles mainly scheduled flights. Bodrum is slighty nearer, transfers taking approx 1 hour 15 mins to the resort, around 1 hour 45 minutes hours from Izmir. We can arrange your airport transfer by fully licenced operator if you require, prices are available on request. We can also provide quotations for transfers from Izmir and for self drive car hire should you wish to drive yourself.
