Local information

The town of Kalkan is often referred to as the St Tropez of Turkey and renowed for its abundace of quality resturants with their roof top terraces overlooking the harbour and mountains. Nightlife is quitley sophisticated with small bars and cafes. There are number of small boutiques and shops sellling jewelry, antiques, glassware and carpets. From the harbour boat trips are available and you can take a 10 min water taxi to one of several beach clubs. There is also a good local dolmus service to a variety of beaches and nearby towns.

Approx 1hr 20 minutes from Dalaman airport, local beaches 5-10 min, variety of histrical sites 30-min.
