Kulenin Evi is a private, spacious holiday villa to rent, with air conditioning, four bedrooms and four bathrooms, superbly located in Kalkan village, about 200 metres from the sea front and even less from the centre of the main street. The villa offers stunning views of Kalkan Bay, Kalkan town and the surrounding Taurus Mountains.

The villa is tastefully furnished and is surrounded by private gardens containing a private fresh water swimming pool, a 13 jet hydro air massage system jacuzzi and terraces with sun beds, tables, chairs and umbrellas. It is in a small complex of five villas close to Kalkan town centre, the beach and the old Greek area.

Notes on Rental price

The rates are for up to 8 people. An additional person can be accommodated in the ground floor double bedroom on a quality fold up bed and one infant can be accommodated in a travel cot in each of the double bedrooms. There is an extra charge of 50 GBP per person per week for occupancy in excess of 8 people. Information on travel cot rental can be provided.

Bedrooms : On the ground floor is a large, air-conditioned double bedroom, with a king sized bed, dressing room and ensuite shower room and an air conditioned twin bedded room with adjacent shower room, both with direct access to the gardens. The second floor comprises a large, air conditioned double bedroom with a king sized bed, dressing room and bathroom with jacuzzi and shower and balconies overlooking the Bay and the 4th bedroom, air conditioned, with twin beds and ensuite shower room and balcony.
Bathrooms : 3 shower rooms and one bathroom with jacuzzi bath and shower
Kitchen : The separate kitchen/dining room is on the first floor with an extensive range of units, crockery, cutlery and glasswear, cooking utensils, 4 ring gas hob/oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, fridge and freezer with balcony with access to the gardens and private swimming pool. There is also a large dining table with chairs.
Utility room : The washing machine is in the 3rd floor attic room, adjacent to the roof terrace, where there is also a sink and fridge to keep your drinks cool when relaxing on the roof terrace
Living room : On the first floor is the air conditioned sitting room, 30 sq m, with two balconies overlooking Kalkan Bay. The sitting room has seating for eight, two three seater sofas and one two seater sofa. There are DVD and CD players with a range of DVDs/CDs, bring your own if you want to. There are also games, including chess and backgammon and a selection of books.

The villa is surrounded by unusually large parivate gardens containing a 32 sq m pool and a 13 jet hydro air jacuzzi, 4 sq m. Around the garden there are three terraces with 8 sunbeds, umbrellas, tables and chairs to relax, sunbathe, dine or sit in the shade. In addition you can enjoy a BBQ on the roof terrace where there is a dining table and 8 chairs.

Nearby Activities

You can take the bus to nearby Kaputas Beach, a small, stunning sandy beach in a ravine. Or you can visit Patara beach, about 20 minutes away, which boasts 12 miles of golden sand. You can hire a jeep to tour inland or along the coast or paraglide in Kas or Olu Deniz. There are many water sports offered, scuba diving, sailing, snorkelling, river canoeing, cruising on a gulet, parasailing or just swimming. For those who want to explore the ancient historical sites there are many to choose from.

Local information

Kalkan is situated on the glorious turquoise coast of Turkey, surrounded by the Taurus mountains. It is a picturesque former fishing village where white washed houses rise up the hillside from the harbour overlooking a beautiful bay. The pebble beach is just a short stroll from the villa. You can browse in the shops in the narrow streets looking at glassware, silver, jewellery, clothes, carpets and the traditional hand painted pottery. There are numerous places to eat in Kalkan, including the harbour side and famous roof top restaurants.
