On entering the villa you get a feeling of space. On the ground floor there is an open plan lounge that leads out onto the pool terrace, Separate dining room that has a French balcony over looking the pool, kitchen with a large balcony, family bathroom, and a double bedroom. Upstairs you will find, another seating area, the family shower room, the en-suite bedroom, 2 twin bedded rooms and the family bedroom this bedroom shares its large balcony with the seating area. All the balconies offer lovely views.

Rental rates are for the villa for up to 12.

Change over day/Arrival/Departures

There is no set change over day.
Guests are asked to try and not arrive before 3pm on day of arrival and depart by 10.30am unless otherwise agreed.

Cleaning/Towels

Towels for both inside and outside use are provided.
All linen is provided.
There is no maid service but we can arrange a cleaner if required for an extra cost.

Nearby Activities

Uzumlu has several small shops and restaurants.
A steep walk of about 1hour will take you to the ruins of Cadianda which sits on a mountain above Uzumlu

Local information

A short walk from the villa is the village of Uzumlu. The village is one of spectacular natural beauty, set in a valley surrounded by dense pine forests rugged hillsides and fields of , sesame, aniseed, wheat, barley and a variety of vegetables as well as apples, grapes, almonds, pears, figs and olives . At the start of the season the poppies and other wild flowers fill the meadows with an abundance of colour. Sitting 500m above sea level makes the cooling mountain breezes perfect for when the local temperatures soar in the summer months.

Travel distances

If you prefer more choice then the coastal resorts of Fethiye (with bustling shops, harbour, museum, and a market) and Calis (with a seemingly endless beach that?s a significant nesting place for logger head turtles) are just 20 minutes drive away.

Oludeniz with its famous lagoon and paragliding is approx another 15 minutes away

Slightly further away are several ancient ruins, the unspoilt 20km beach of Patara and Salikent Gorge.
The international airport of Dalaman is approx 45 mins away

Special interest

If you want to enjoy a more traditional way of life away from the crowds and night clubs, then this is the place for you. Uzumlu is a peaceful village which gives you the opportunity to relax

Wheelchair friendly

There are a small number of steps up to the villa but once inside the villa its spacious enough for a wheelchair to be easily manoeuvred around the ground floor and out to the pool terrace.
